Since a train can move at any time: Never stand between the rails or park your vehicle across the tracks. And because distracting an engineer of a moving train can be dangerous, don't swing a signal device or flashlight to try to get his or her attention. If there is an emergency or other reason to have a train stop, the only safe way to accomplish this is to contact the train dispatcher through the CSX Public Safety Coordination Center at 1-800-232-0144.
